Nice place for breakfast or a cup of coffee. Very traditional. Not too busy. Very friendly waiters who speak fluent English. Very good cinnamon buns!

The tourist guides don't lie, this is a lovely old-fashioned coffee shop. It has elegance and old-style charm, good coffee and a great selection of cakes - try it out!

One of the few cafes in Helsinki that still has table service. Went here mid afternoon and I had the house tea and Budapest Torte. It was delicious. So much so that I bought two more slices to take back for eating later! My friend had cheesecake and quiche. Although her cheesecake looked good, I think I made a better... More

This is a Helsinki institution dating from the mid 1800s. There are two stores: one is a take away bakery and next door is a cafe. Make sure to try the Napoleon. You will thank yourself later.

Service is miserable: twenty minutes to be served and moved to another table. The Cappuccino was actually a caffelatte: milk was too hot and no foam. The cake was ok but nothing special. Everything is pretty expensive. Never gonna be there again for breakfast.

So much European charm and ambiance. We were hard-pressed to pick just a few goodies to take back with us to our accommodations - it all looked and smelled so yummy. We bought more than we intended, but enjoyed every bite, such a treat! If we'd had more time available, we could have sat in the attached cafe, but were... More

A really famous café in downtown Helsinki. Typically for a bit elderly people, but everybody should try this 165 year old café! Warm food served only until 4pm, after that snacks and sweets available. Food tastes good, but the atmosphere is a bit cold. The place is also a bit noicy. Toilets are renovated and stylish.

I stopped off in here to sample some Finnish treats - the staff were friendly and I got some tasty food. Good to see and taste what the locals eats for a treat! A good, authentic local experience.

We came to try the famous Napoleon and Aleksanteri desserts and there are no words to described it. It is a most in Helsinki.
