Sunday lunch sitting in the sunshine, being served great food and good wine, what more can you ask for. You can of course be seated inside but when the weather is good the outside area is a must. There is little more to say except that we look forward to eating in this lovely restaurant when we return. As you... More

The menu has improved and been extended. The service is impeccable, the wine list admirable. A most enjoyable meal sitting in the courtyard under a large parasol. Make the effort to find this haven.

I have eaten in fine restaurants all over the world but this little gem must rank on the top 5.... fantastic menu good quality and 5 star service. Even with our limited French we managed to decifer the menu. Staff were helpful but not intrusive.

Visited here for Christmas lunch with the Anglophone Association of Coutances. A very convivial time in a pleasant dining room with good food.

Staying in this area for a holiday and decided to visit this restaurant having read reviews. We started with a kir each and they were perfect. My husband is vegetarian but he had a nice goat cheese starter. But his main course was just a selection of vegetables but very well presented. I had a pate and then fish both... More

Having eaten in this restaurant before I found my second time just as good as the first. The food is cooked to the way you like it and the service is first class. Whilst it is out of the way it is worth finding it as you will not be disappointed. My friends live in the village (Frost family) and... More

Visited on a Thursday evening and was no need to book. We speak no French but the host was very friendly and helpful and translated the menu for us. Food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Went to this restaurant on Saturday night and having spent a week in France this was the worst .Beef which was tender came with 3 French beans and little else no potato or chips .Lamb chops had to be returned as undercooked and did not look like lamb chops.Settled for an omelette which was tasty.Seemed very popular with locals.Certainly would... ...it's well worth beating a path to this delightful family-run restaurant. We stopped for the lunchtime Midi menu and were surprised by the very high standard of service and presentation. The price was reasonable, the house wine very drinkable, the little unasked-for extras a pleasant surprise and we shall rtuen for a full-blown evening experience. It was really great.

This restaurant came highly recommended by acquaintances familiar with the area. It did not disappoint. A very quaint setting with pleasant, attentive service. Lovely presentation of meals. Food was very good and the wine list was excellent. Enjoyable experience!
