Me and my husband and my cousin and his wife went to this restaurant last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was very unique and very nice. The building looked just like in the movies of the Vikings. The restaurant was not busy...More

Lovely accomodatiing staff who helped us out with dinner after the restaurant was closed en-route to Fishermans Village. Clearly designed for tourists/groups but well done.Average prices for Iceland - so pint of Coke £8!

I took a solo trip to Iceland and all the reviews said to try the Viking Village three course special. I am NOT a fish person, but I decided to try the fish anyway because Icelandic cod is supposed to be some of the best...More

The food here is pretty good, though not gourmet level, but the real attraction is the decor and the performances. I had a very tasty lamb sandwich, my wife had a burger, and we were both pleased. We also enjoyed the singers and story tellers,...More

Restaurant is next to hotel. Easy to access and get to. Staff is friendly and capable. Everything is in viking motif including wait staff dress. There's entertainment at certain times so call prior to going. BBQ ribs are excellent. Be sure to ask for sample...More

The atmosphere is a total Viking experience but classy at the same time. The staff was super friendly (except for the hostess. She was upset when we and others said we didn't have reservations). My husband and I both enjoyed our dishes. Me, pasta. Husband,...More

Not a pleasant experience at all. Very pricey, and service not up to the standard I assumed to be. Do not recommend it to anyone.

This is a great family experience. The decor, staff garb, and wandering musicians make it a memorable occasion. As for the food, it was quite good and a very unique experience. On our first visit to this restaurant, my wife and I enjoyed the feast....More

We stayed just across this restaurant and decided to stop by for some dinner. It is a bit pricey but then again it all is in Iceland. We tried as a starter the Viking dish full of dried fish. It was interesting to try but...More

We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant. It has interesting decorations and a fun atmosphere with a strolling troubadour who sings "authentic" viking songs from many countries. During our meal we heard German, Thai, Canadian and American viking songs! Humor aside, the food was...More

We went in the off-season, there are hamburger, soup and fish dinners on the menu, no buffet. From the pictures in the hotel, it looks like the Viking feast goes on during a weekend of summer.

Hæ, I think a meal and a beer is between 3-6.000 ísl. kr., but I don´t know if there is a show other days than weekends.
