average food, very expensive £20 for a cheeseburger nothing special. Drinks have to be taken upstairs out of the bar area as they dont cater for you to have a drink on its own , a single gin and tonic is about £14 for one drink.

We made reservations for dinner at the Viking village restaurant. There were servers dressed in Viking attire and a strolling musician. The interior is decorated very historical. We walked through the rooms to check them all out. The food was very good. We ordered the lobster soups to start and at our table we had lamb, garlic lobsters and the... More

Went here for a meal for six of us after reading the trip advisor reports. We were met by a very pleasant waitress and given the menu, she recommended the Haddock so we all had that, the rest of the menu seemed a bit limited, obviously because of it being out of season. We all said it was ok but... More

Lost the some order and charge us for some thing did not order. The food was over salted and the meal was not very generous size. So I left half full over charge and with out the meal for my kid. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant.

All the staff were dressed up as vikings which was great and the restaurant decor in a Viking theme. The food was great, big portions. My husband had the sheeps head which came out as a half head on a plate 😳 He said it was delicious. I had the special which was fish in a creamy sauce, very nice... More

The food was nice but all of Iceland's prices are much higher than we expected. Catch of the day, worth trying, extremely well cooked, my husband described it as the best fish he had ever had.

Loads of atmosphere, but unfortunately the service we received was very slow, the food was good, good portions but very expensive. Worth going for the Viking feel, the place is also acceptably clean.

A cosy and a warm place to stay with great staff with warm attitude. The best place to be to have a look into the old icelandic culture. In the restaurant you can eat almost anything from burgers to a real icelandic old food (and it's very special. I really recommend everyone to try it)

We were a large group of people and we were greeted very well. The service was great and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant as it is not just good it also has a great Viking vibe to it.
