This restaurant is in a shopping centre but feels like it is elsewhere and more upmarket. If you order main meals you get soup of the day for free. One day it was mushroom and on our second visit it was a hearty vegetarian one. It is an international restaurant so there are no traditional Icelandic dishes to be had.... More

The setting is great, upstairs overlooking the harbor. The food was fantastic. Ate there twice! The first time they had a buffet with a delicious soup, an amazing fish dish, and a good salad bar. There was other food, but those were so good that's all I ate! The second time had fish and chips . . . awesome. I... More

We had a vegetable soup that tasted fresh and good. Then some seafood. The waiter was lovely and the ambience great. Very nice place to visit and eat clean good icelandic food.

Really good food and a beautiful view over Hafnarfjörður. Service was excellent, ask for Arnar he was really funny and handsome. His brother Alli was a cook there, he is nice and really huge.. he looks like the Rock! Great place I would recommend it.

Had a lovely lunch here, I had the Silver burger and it was very tasty, washed down with a nice beer, the others had an assortment of foods and all said how good they were. The two staff members were also very helpful. Glad we found it & the views over the harbour are lovely.

We decided to invite our american friends for lunch in the Fjordur center of Viking village, Hafnarfjordur. Great soup plates, salads and bread for reasonable price.

We were out exploring and found this place (there didn't seem other many other local options). 3 adults, 2 teens, well fed at a reasonable price. Burgers were good, pasta was great. Fish and chips can be had better elsewhere.

I've visited this restaurant Silfur (e. Silver) couple of times. This time I had salat which was good but not memorable. What I like most about this place is the the relaxed atmosphere and easy going service. Therefore a good place to meet friends, chat and have a cup of coffee, beer or a light meal.
