We really enjoyed our dinner there: I had lobster tails and my friend ate whale stake. Both of them were really good, the portions are really big. Staff was very friendly - gave recommendations, explained about the name of the restaurant. I would say price range is similar as everywhere in Iceland - not too expensive, however not that cheap... We came up on this restaurant as we were walking around Keflavick. It look interesting so we decided to give it a try. The lady who seated us spoke English which was a big help. We had a nice window that looked out across the ocean and the view was beautiful. As we looked over the menu we selected a... More

We went there for dinner, the restaurant is located in a great place with a great view - but we paid £60 for our basic meals and that isn't including starters, desserts or alcohol !!! Not sure I would go back there but service and the food was great.

Of course the prices are outrageous and the service subpar by american standards, but that applies everywhere in iceland in my experience. This place is like stepping back in time, with its ship's hull decor (some of which is quite a trip), christmas napkins and stuffy atmosphere. But the fish (i had the char) was mediocre at best, drowned in... More

My wife and I both had the salmon. Excellent! We got to sit by the window and enjoy the wonderful view of the harbor. Really pleasant staff. As with food in general in Iceland, expect to spend a lot of money. Two dinners with a glass of wine for my wife and a beer for me ran around 12500 isk... More

One of the best fish meals I ever had. I normally dont like white fish, but this place has excellent fresh halibut. Very nice panorama ocean view. Prices are expensive but not exceptional

Had an excellent dinner here. The portion sizes are big and the prices pretty good for Iceland. The surf & turf (lobster tail & lamb steak) was perfectly cooked as was the fish of the day which was halibut. The staff are very friendly. The decor is a bit dated but nice views of the sea. The music mix was... More

We ate lunch at Rain and had the schnitzel and some fried fish. The "rosti" that accompanied the schnitzel were just some fried potatoes that bore no resemblance to the Swiss dish while the meat (pork?) was covered in a form of batter and came with an odd sauce. It wasn't very good. The fried fish was fine. Service good... More

As everywhere in Iceland the prices are higher than the average in Northern Ireland, but it was worth. Food was delicious, especially the SKYR, the typical Icelandic dessert. Highly recommended.

Had our last night meal here. A little more expensive than other restaurants in the town. But the portions are brilliant and the food is to die for. The steak just melted in your mouth & the lamb was excellent. Great service as well.
