Booked this restaurant before travelling due to the strength of positive feeling on Tripadviser and we were not disappointed. The fish pans (main courses) were beautifully presented and cooked and the waiter was happy to talk through the dishes to help us decide what to...More

Came here on a food tour and just had to return the following day for dinner. I was smitten with the Arctic Char “taster” that we had on the tour. We both order duo of prawn to start and Arctic Char, both were amazing, but...More

Attractive restaurant, wood furniture but not pretentious, can see the chef cooking through door behind bar, intimate. Absolutely fresh ingredients and large portions. Outstanding meal, and decent prices by Icelandic standards! Go for the Arctic Char fish pan, in honey sauce with almonds, delicious!

In Reykjavík you should eat fish. We had a late dinner and tried cod in a Pan which was good. Friendly personell even though it was solist cloosing time.

Tried something different here. I had Arctic Char and my husband had Atlantic Wolffish. Both dishes excellent and served on sizzling hot pans. Starters also very good, duo of prawns and lobster bisque. Highly recommend.
