We stopped here for lunch in Reykjavik because my husband wanted to have lamb stew. The lamb stew was more like a broth. I had the "must have" Icelandic Fish Stew - that was actually more like fish and potato in a creamy sauce. It was pretty good. One teenage son had a croc madame - not necessarily authentic Icelandic... More

we went there for the lamb tenderloin and it was not dissappointing. the meat was taebder and tasty the roasted potatoes were good only th e carrots were overpowered with rosemary. Service was not gret nor efficient but he food was worth it. Price is very expensive but within range for Reykjavik.

My boyfriend and me went here after we saw they served mussels, which was what we were looking for nearby our accomodation. We were seated quickly, but at a dirty table. The waitress was not very service minded and it was hard to find any resemblance to a smile. My boyfriend ordered the mussels and I the traditional Icelandic fishstew.... More

First impressions from the street was a bit rough and ready, but we gave it a punt anyway as we fancied a couple of items on the menu. Once inside the staff were really friendly and it had a nice relaxed atmosphere. The food was fantastic and the portion sizes were generous. We would recommend for people looking for proper... More

This just happened to be our first meal in Reykjavik. Nice little pub with an atentive staff. We had some nice fish and chips and the soup was great! Nice Place!

Our first night in Reykjavik and we stumbled across this place. After 10 minutes of no one turning up to serve us, or even ask for drinks, we eventually got a waitress. She was the most stern looking and sullen young person I have ever seen. We tried to engage in conversation with her, and get some recommendations, but she... More

This is a little pub that many people stop in for a drink and then leave. We stayed for dinner and had one of their specials of the day - Roast lamb tenderloins, mashed potatoes, salad and roasted carrots. It was fabulous! The waffles and ice cream dessert was out of this world!!! I asked for a taste of the... More

I expected more from Iceland when I ordered Cod. Alas, it was dreadful. It cost circa €30 and came out lukewarm with a basic undressed salad and unseasoned sweet potato purée. When I asked for some salad dressing, the waiter disappeared for 5 minutes went to the kitchen and came back to ask what type of dressing I wanted. Too... More

Had no clue where to go on our first night but we were starving and thought we'd try anywhere that looked ok. From the outside there seemed to be quite a few people inside and they have ribs outside on the menu and looked like they did a good selection of beer. We went and got a table but straight... More

We went here on Friday and saw a great rock band who could play anything really well. Had a fun night and danced to some good tunes. I don't know what the foods like but its a good place for music the rock band finished after midnight then the disco started !. The drinks are not cheap but they had... More
