Went to Cafe Haiti for coffee and something sweet after a walk around the Old Harbor. Great location! This place is by the water. I believe the lady who assisted us is the owner. She was very sweet and attentive! Amazing service, delicious coffee, and the caramel cake is to die for! Prices are reasonable and the ambiance is very... More

Cafe Haiti is a great place near the water... if you are just back from whale watching or out & about. This is a great place for coffee & a snake.

We nipped in here for coffee and a cake before going over the road to get our whale watching tickets. There was an excellent range of cakes, and all were tasty - the service was friendly and low key, and we had a chance to catch our breath, get warm and prepare for the North Atlantic! Well worth a visit.

Tried the Icelandic Fish Stew here, and loved it. Also had the hot chocolate and it was excellent. Great quaint place at the harbour!

We found Cafe Haiti by accident when wondering around Reykjavik harbour. Lovely little place serving up a great Icelandic fish stew at a reasonable price for Reykjavik!

Dropped in after a day of "Golden Circle" tour with Reykjavik excursions. Dropped off 5 minutes away from Hotel. On way stopped at Cafe Haiti. Refilled on coffee and even had a couple of beers. Charming, friendly and a warm greeting. Coffee nice and strong. Definitely worth a visit to have a snack. Dried our jackets, used their WiFi, with... More

Fish stew came out looking not as expected but the cafe's claims that this is one of their specialties was certainly true from the taste

Good Latte, good hot coco, cute and friendly little place. Wish we would have had time to eat here. Their desserts looked wonderful.

Charming cafe with dark rich coffee was a lovely place to caffeine up after visiting the art museum & photography museum! The apple tart was a little sweet for my husband but it was light and flaky!

Description
Cafe Haiti is a small cafe by Reykjavik's Old harbor. We buy our coffee from farmers in Haiti. We roast the coffee in the shop and serve quality coffee as espresso, macciato, cappuccino, latte, Arabic and Turkish coffee as well as tea and hot chocolate. Soups, pies and croissants as well as our fumes breast so if you are coming from the flight in the morning the stop and see oss for breakfast and we also have good lunch. We also have food to go if you are going on the whale watching. We have sometime live music so be in touch and hope you are in town when we have live music.
