With so many restaurant some way out of our budget, we decided to try the Nepalese after reading about it in the Iceland Times. We were not disappointed. We got a warm welcome from Deepak, freshly cooked food which was beautiful. Would throughly recommend.

A fantastic meal for two hungry vegetarians. Astounded to hear that previous diners had moaned e.g. about using wholewheat flour in naan bread. So much disrespect for a wonderful establishment. Support this superb restaurant next time you're in Reykjavik.

The owner/chef greets everyone and takes very obvious pride in the food and its authenticity. It is good value for really good food. No rushing, just a relaxed atmosphere where appreciating the food is valued. I had the Nepalese Masala with chicken and rice. The Chef told us it had taken him three years to perfect this recipe - well... More

We stopped in just before seeing a concert at the Harpa. The waitress was very helpful and told us which dishes took longer than others. The meal was good, we had a spicy curry and a grilled chicken, both of which were excellent. The seating is limited, but on a Saturday night, we were quickly seated and served.

Found this gem by accident on our last evening in Reykjavik. Chef was obviously very passionate about his food, sourced his ingredients with care and this was evident in the quality of the dishes served. Staff were attentive and the atmosphere was great. All customers were greeted like family and I will definitely be back if I make it back... More

Ate here with my son. Had a tomato based curry and my son had the Naplese curry. Both are sweet which was incredibly good. Prices were a little high, but so is everything in Iceland. I ordered a second nan to wipe the bowl and plate clean. Yum.

Best dining experience we have had in our 5 nights in Reykjavik. Simple and good atmosphere. We had two different types of curry

If you've had enough of amazing seafood (are you mad?!) in Iceland then head here. Nepalese/Tibetan momos (wonton-type dumplings) are difficult to find in many cities but you wouldn't expect to find them in Iceland. They were great! You must order the lamb. It's absolutely amazing! Lovely friendly welcome. Expensive by London standards but cheap by Reykjavik standards.

We had dinner twice at this restaurant, the food is excellent and the staff have a very good knowledge of Gluten Free requirements. Brilliant menu would highly recommend.

Magnificent food and service. The owner, Deepak, sources all of the spices and ingredients from Nepal and brings them home to Iceland directly. This hidden gem is one of Reykjavik's best kept secrets. Deepak's courteous and friendly staff provide service of the highest quality and the cuisine itself is quality from the first bite to the last.
