We had a very good meal here in the capital. I had a superb grilled fillet of lamb with red wine sauce and my wife enjoyed a chicken dish. We washed it down with an Argentinian Sauvignon Blanc. Great meal.

Having walked into the city from the Hilton on the first day of our stay in Reykjavik we came across this restaurant on the main shopping street. As with most places in the city it appeared quite understated. Inside, the restaurant was nothing too flashy but it was warm, welcoming and cosy feeling. We did not have a reservation but... More

Lucky for us we got a table on a Saturday night, we hadn't booked & only had to wait a few minutes. Only 2 front of house staff & they were really busy so service was a little slow. The food was great. Well worth a visit here

after a crazy day on a glacier we were still in our hiking boots when we called in for meal. Service was so good and welcoming, My husband had excellent fish and chips and I had sublime haddock. Couldn't fault anything about it.

Ok, I'll be honest, the night we visited Harry's we had planned to eat at another restaurant just up the road but it was too busy to get a table. However, stumbling across Harry's just as we thought be would have to settle for a hotel pizza before our Northern Light's trip was a great result. Don't get me wrong,... More

We have been in Reykjavik for a few days and knew it was expensive but eating out is really expensive. Therefore it's so important to eat somewhere special and Harry's is the place! We had a set meal which was superb. All extremely well cooked and very tasty. The service was good and friendly.

From start to finish both food and service were amazing. Only here 2 nights but will return before we travel home. Lobster soup is a must try and the lamb shank is amazing.

Lovely warm welcoming restaurant with quite a few menu choices. We all went for Harry's fish and chips which we all thought was gorgeous and good sized potions. Viking beer was very flat which two of us ended up leaving. As with most Iceland restaurants, food and drink is expensive and bill was approx £30 per person. That said, I... More

Starving hungry so decided to go to next restaurant with a table. So glad we found Harry's. Service was friendly and we were neither rushed or left too long. The food was delicious, sweet creamy lobster soup, lamb and steak cooked to perfection. Portions were generous and I was so full I struggled to find the energy to leave. I... More
