We popped into this restaurant with 6 people during a busy night, and everyone was very helpful trying to accommodate us. We quickly got a table and food was also served quickly, although it was so busy. We ate artic char, burgers and salmon and all was really yummy. So go check this place out. It is worth it.

If you whant an appetizer with your drink, and only that, then this is not the place. Me and my husband whanted something small, we were not that hungry. The waiter semi laughed at our order. We were quick, of course, and when we where going to pay at the diner she semi laughed again "oh yeah you had the... More

Very nice setting on Main Street and can be busy. Good menu choices but make sure you do the sums as food in Iceland is at least twice the price of UK. We stuck to lower priced options of chicken with baked potatoe and salad and artic char with salad and potatoes with excellent desserts. Quick service, well cooked with good... More

We ate here twice during our stay, both times we had burgers, firstly they were the cheapest option, secondly they were really good. The burgers are cooked medium rare, it does state this on the menu, so if you like your meat well done say so when ordering. The food is very good and there is a decent amount, from... More

My husband and I ate dinner here our first night in the city. It was expensive but then everywhere is. Was asked if we would like any sauce/mayo as a dip to go with the fries, noticed on the bill that this had been charged at 350 ISK which is about £3, so beware when agreeing to extras for meals.

We ate here one night and the the food was excellent. We had the Atlantic char and the cod, both were beautifully cooked and as good value as you can get in Iceland.

Most people in the restaurant were having burgers and beer but we enjoyed the Arctic Char and Salmon, both wonderful. But highlight of the evening was the desert - tasty Icelandic pancakes and a molten chocolate cake. Not to be missed.

Located in the city centre it offered a good range of dishes and even better range of beer. By over priced Reykjavik standards the prices are very reasonable. Their burgers are excellent and large (epic) and the fish is as expected, superb. The service is friendly and welcoming and you are not rushed at anytime despite a constant demand for... More

We ate dinner at 73 twice - both meals were excellent, and unlike many restaurants in Reykjavik, we thought this restaurant offered good value for money. The Arctic Char is especially good. Patronised by local people as well, which is a good sign.
