Absolutely terrible food! In fact both my friend and I were sick the following day after eating there. Very expensive (but then everything in Iceland is!) Small portions (just as well in our case!!)

Booked a table here for our first night as only arrived at our hotel at 8:45pm and this was next door and didn't want to spend time trying to find somewhere to eat Unfortunately for us this was our worst meal in Reykjavik, the food was just bland - we both ordered pasta as wanted a filling and reasonably priced... Good food and friendly service. Not too expensive for Reykjavik. We had a couple of fish dishes which were tasty, satisfied customers.

This restaurant adjoins Hotel Fron. The hotel hosts breakfast here and we loved it even if it was a cold spread. The dinners were excellent! Try to save room for a slice of their apple cake for dessert, though.

We had dinner twice at this restaurant and both times were happy with the meal and service. The restaurant does a good business but we had a table with no wait both times but it was during October and not in the height of summer season. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We all ordered different types of meals... More

Spent our last night in Reykjavik in this restaurant and wish we had done a bit more research before settling on this place as we had been to better restaurants in the area. Felt cramped in as there was not a lot of space and were a few big groups in there. I had fish and chips which was not... More

The place was packed, but service was attentive and friendly from the start. A relatively compact menu doesn't offer the most scintillating of options; it seems to be the difference between fish, beef or lamb with the same rough assortment of sides. My partners order of pasta with lobster was very underwhelming and bland, whereas my lobster feast was sweet... More

Small, cozy place on main commerce street. Stopped in for late lunch/early dinner, and received superb service. Menu assistance and explanations for everything easily given, you could tell they truly care and enjoy what they do. Although I'm from the states, have spent fair amount of time in England and the world, so hands down , best fish and chips... More

It was freezing cold the day we discovered Scandinavian and thoroughly warmer us up in our bellies and our hearts. Great people serving great food. Their special this day was Baked Cod, which I ordered and I am glad I did. It was fantastic, moist and flaky and like all the seafood we had in Iceland, very fresh. A Viking... More
