We stumbled across Tiu Dropar when we were walking down the street and absolutely loved it. Small and cosy it was busy with locals which is always a good sign.

Enjoyed a quiet night here with a few friends. They had a good selection of drinks available. It is small and cosy place. Well lit. Clean bathrooms. The staff are nice, and they speak English. Can’t see much out of the windows. It’s a shame...More

Local beer costs 950kr! Better priced beers are available in town. Nice atmosphere but best enjoyed with coffee and cake.

This is a great place to have breakfast. It's definitely on the higher end price wise and the portions are a bit small.

This is perhaps the loveliest cafe in Reykjavik: it has a really warm, homey atmosphere and the staff is friendly and attentive. Their coffee is good and their food, particularly their cakes, are really delicious! It's also a place favored by the locals, too.

Come here for brunch. The food is delicious, the atmosphere cozy, homey, and sweet. Plus, Icelanders suffer from being the world's biggest over-achievers - so everything here is made to perfection. The eggs are huge and fresh. The bacon is so delicious, it will cause...More

We stopped by here looking for a pre-dinner drink and we pleased to find a lovely lower level wine bar and café. The staff were very friendly, good wines by the glass and a generous size! By chance, it was also happy hour, which made...More
