we went 3 times during our 8 days stay. Like the Mexican food, big portion and authentic. Order soup and soda and is free flow..

We were going out late one night to look for the Northern Lights so we went to Red Chilli because it was near our hotel. Actually it was surprisingly good. Well cooked Tex Mex food with good sized portions.

Tucked a little bit away from the city centre this is worth the walk. The menu has something for most people. The Chilli was very nice as were the other choices of our party. Staff are super friendly, so in conclusion if I was in town again I would definitely return.

Me and my Mum visited Iceland and definitely under-estimated how much money we would need to bring! But Red Chili was really affordable with great quality food and good portion sizes - lots to choose from - we visited twice in the week during our stay (we even got 10% off with vouchers supplied at our hotel) and the waitress... One could get a meal for 2 for about 6000 kronur. Things are generally expensive in Iceland. We had the quesadillas and the seafood pan and the fish and chips. Service wasn't as bad as the other reviewers have mentioned. They serve us free water quickly After we ordered. I even ask for a hot water as the weather was... More

Myself and the good lady came here for our last meal of our trip. We ordered buffalo wings for starter. They came out cold and in BBQ sauce.... the fries were ok and the chicken breast sandwich was the best thing about our meal. The lady took the price of the wings off our bill and a further 20% so... It's Iceland, so the food is pretty expensive like everywhere. Having said that, if you're visiting Iceland and you decide to check out the local Mexican food, I can only assume something has gone wrong with your trip. The food was very average. The service left a lot to be desired too. Not very attentive and some items we ordered... More

I got a quesadilla and fries and was disappointed to have the fries overcooked. I like spicy food but the flavour of the quesadilla was just too hot so I couldn't enjoy it.
