Great location as well as (cheap) compared to anything else in this area. The one downfall of my visit was that I originally wanted a burger but they were out of burger patties. Got a sandwich instead and it was very tasty.

At this restaurant there are many different types of burgers.the ones i had a few times were always very tasty and fries remain crunchy down to the last one I tried a couple other burger places and i must say here has the best tasting and biggest burgers . I really enjoyed eating here. Plus the guys were always pleasant.

You'll quickly find out that food and booze are really expensive in Iceland. This place offers awesome hot subs, cheap by local standards. I recommend the New York. I recommend this place overall. Central Reykjavik, ideally located.

Hlollabatar is located at one of the busiest squares of Reykjavik, Ingolfur. While you have many options to sit and eat or drink, this place give you options to eat sandwiches with their own style of preparation. And if you compare the prices with the other options in the square you can easily see the prices as cheap. Their shrimp... More

We stumbled across this joint on our last day and ordered the slow cooked pork. It is absolutely delicious and we went back during the evening again to order the exact same one. Simply a must eat while you are here

I was wandering around the city with my fiancé in the middle of winter and she decided she wanted ice cream. As luck would have it we were near by so we stopped in. She ordered a small cone and we were on our way. About a block later I got a bite. I turned around and ordered a large... More

I have frequented this stand during my days in the city. I tried the lamb teriyaki and pizza sandwiches. Both very flavorful for 990isk, which includes a 330ml Pepsi. My only complaint was that I wasn't offerred a Pepsi on my first visit (I didn't realize it was included with sandwich. The second visit the guy just gave me one,... More
