Make a reservation. We walked in cause the place looked cozy. The guy who greeted us asked if we made reservations. We didn't. He smiled and said, 20 min wait and I can get you in - he recommended sitting at the bar. The wait was not that long - the bar area is small but very cozy. I had... More

We did not have a reservation for this restaurant, but within 15-20 mins they were able to seat us in their upstairs area, look like they converted the attic for additional seating. It was quaint, we loved the decor. They had a violinist that would play both upstairs and down, it was lovely to hear it in the background. The... More

Went to this restaurant twice on my visit to Iceland because it was so fantastic. Service was also good- polite and efficient. Lovely ambiance too! Would definitely recommend it.

Visited here a couple of days ago, was greeted by a very friendly staff member who was happy to show us to a table. The food here was outstanding from the completely bread and garlic butter to our main meals. The only downside was the waitress, unfortunately she was miserable from the moment she first came over to the table... More

Had a fabulous meal here last week. The Design, Layout and Décor of this restaurant is really fantastic. You feel as if you are in your own house and living room. Its cosy, yet spacious with great atmosphere. The food was really nice, although slightly salty, but very flavoursome. Service was very good indeed and for a Thursday night in... More

Out of all the places we ate at in Iceland, this was my favorite. My only complaint was the slightly grumpy waiters. We went on a Friday night without booking - this was a mistake, but we were very grateful that they found us a table. As I said, the food was great, but the service could have been a... More

Went to Caruso because we had a gift certificate there. As a vegan it's not the type of place I'd usually go to. The waiter was a bit surprised and it took a while to sort out something we could eat. However the food we got was excellent. My date ordered a baked potato, corn on the cob and grilled... More

We had a superb lunch here yesterday, the fish soup was the best as was everything else. Great surroundings and not too expensive. Highly recommended.
