This small restaurant was a fantastic find! The menu is not extensive, but each item we tried was both delicious and a work of art. Our server was attentive, yet never made us feel rushed. Quaint atmosphere. Everything in Iceland is expensive, but I thought...More

Most enjoyable modern food for those people who are seeking quality experience with a strong local bias. Efficient well informed staff. Highly recommended.

The food was great and generous, the waitress was very reactive and smily. Nothing to say, it was perfect.

We tried the chefs 5 course recommendation which was a great range of local fresh fare - especially the fish which was melt in the mouth.

We dropped in with no reservation and were served by lovely staff (although a bit sparse when we got there). The food was excellent - we were very excited about this place!

Description
Chef Johann Helgi Johannsson and his wife Ragnheidur Helen Edvardsdottir own and manage Resto. Johann has built up a great reputation for quality cooking in other restaurants in Reykjavik so they decided to follow their dreams and open their own restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly and there is much effort put into the food.
