I finally walked all the way from my hotel to the BSI terminal cafe just to have a go at Svio, the Sheep's Head. It was actually an affordable dish compared to most Icelandic cuisines served in restaurant. The sight might turn you off as it literally looks like a head on the plate, but I had mine served hot... If you're an adventurous food enthusiast like me, then Fljott Og Gott can provide you with some sheep meat, presented in an interesting way (yes, half a face!). In the US (and many other countries), people are far removed from where their meat comes from. Vegetarians and PETA folks know this well, that some (probably adorable) living organism died and... Kind of cafeteria style. The stew was very tasty, but overall I would say the food was just okay. Reminded me a little bit of an IKEA cafeteria.

I came here only because I heard they had the best sheep head in town. It is a diner located at the bus terminal in Reykjavik. The restaurant was clean with fast and friendly service. The sheep head was delicious. From the succulent meat on the cheek, the delightful chew of the tongue, and the delicate delicious eye ball, this... More

The food is decent but the service is really good. I went 3.june 2016, 23:40, and got the best service!

Wow, we had no idea our best meal would be found at a bus station and we ate at some pretty fancy places. Maybe we just lucked out but our salted lamb with potatoes, squash and bean soup was excellent. My wife was like a piranha eating every bit off the bones. They gave us a huge portion and both... I ate here twice, it was nothing too special but still good fast food. I had the cheeseburger the staff had me sit down and brought it to my seat. Good portion of fries and unlimited refills.

This is at the BSI bus station & we ate there whilst waiting for a tour. They had run out of half the food we asked for, one member of staff spent more time sitting down checking his phone than preparing our food. When the food came it was poor. The portions were fine but it was basically poorly prepared... More

After reading some glowing reviews, we had to try this place! Seriously? We ordered 2 Sheep heads (speciality) and asked for it to be hot, and it came Luke warm! Not a whole head by the way but half each, well there's not much to say apart from the flavour was average (had much, much better in Cyprus and London).... More

Thrill of it is the fact you can eat a sheepshead. It's very salty, and both the sides are super sweet, but it's in the bus depot so what do you expect. It's more for the experience that you can say ' I ate that'. Would not suggest going there otherwise. Seems like a typical greasy spoon spot. Not bad... More
