This restaurant has been in Reykjavik for a long time. So when we wanted to have girls night out we decided to go here. We had great pizza and good Chanti but we felt the service was lacking a little. We had booked a table and when we showed up we were given the smallest table there and since the... More

We were walking around trying to decide what to eat for late lunch. So many choices in Reykjavik. Then we came across Italia. Menu posted outside had so many choices. Was this Italian food with an Icelandic twist? Nope. Pure Italian food made by an Italian chef. Appetizer and meal were classic Italian. Did not leave hungry or wanting something... More

We arrived at prime dinner hour on a Saturday without a reservation and they advised it would take a short while before they could seat us but to us to a nice waiting area and brought us the drinks we ordered. A table was ready before the drinks were finished. We shared a terrific prosciutto and melon and a carpaccio... More

Went here on Friday night without reservation. Had a table after a short wait. The food we each had was lovely (each a different spaghetti dish) nice portion size and delicious flavours. Would have given 5* but the wait for the food was too long, with people getting served before us who were seated after us.

Nicely decorated Italian style restaurant. We arrived early evening without a reservation and were seated no problem, although I got the impression that it is best to book. Our party of 6 all enjoyed their meals with no complaints. Probably the best meal I had during our 4 night stay in Reykavik (Lasagne, salad and garlic bread). Service was good... More

Food was edible but not special. Service was fine. My salad never came, but turned up on the bill. Quickly removed when we complained.

Lovely authentic looking Italian, welcoming to kids with 'baby' size portion which was plenty for our ten and six yr olds. Only thing that let it down was desert just no choice!

I wouldn't even give this place 1*. To start we walked in and were seated. We ordered a drink each - beer and coke - which was ordered with no ice but surprise surprise it came with ice, to make it worse the soda had ran out and tasted completely flat and watered down. We proceeded to order our mains,... More
