My partner insisted on grabbing some chips even though we already had dinner. I mocked him for being excessive. In true cliche girlfriend style, I stole some of his chips after refusing to get my own. I am not exaggerating here, these were the best...More

As we roamed the streets of Reykjavik, an alluring odor caught my family's attention. We followed the scent up a side street to a small restaurant tucked away amid the bustling city. Reykjavik Chips. Although we were not necessarily hungry nor major fans of chips,...More

Well, us Brits love our chips, so a portion of these one lunch time was a must. Like everything in Iceland it, they were really expensive, £7.40 for a medium portion. But they were the best chips I have ever tasted. They cook them to...More

I had lunch at Reykjavik Chips with my mum today and I must say these are probably the best chips I’ve eaten anywhere, including Brussels. The chips were cooked once we ordered and the vegan satay sauce was delicious. I would definitely go back again.

Reykjavik Chips was definitely one of the best things I ate while in Iceland. The prices are very reasonable for the portion size that you receive, and dipping sauce is actually included (unlike other establishments in the area) in the price for the chips. The...More

I went there many times. Best French Fries, you can taste that they don't use old oil and the fries are homemade. Very nice sauces as well. It is a little expensive but still a good value for Iceland. For Takeaway it's a nice "hand...More

Don't know about the oil...but all they serve is chips and beer so meat and fish shouldn't be an issue.
