Our daughter loves it, and I'm never disappointed. Good fun, value and very tasty. Love the homely unpretentiousness.

Large group and every morsel was delicious as usual. It is hard to pick a standout dish, salt and pepper calamari is always crisp, shredded pork pancakes fantastic, egg rolls delicious. Honey pepper pork chops from the white board takes the prize. Incredible value for money and the quality of the food is very high indeed. Can't recommend it enough.

I have passed this restaurant 100 times and finally ventured in on a cold night. Great selection on the menu but went for classic seafood laksa and a bubble tea. Service was polite and food arrived very quickly. Both laksas were delicious and the right amount of spice. Definitely needed the tissues but felt warm enough to brave the winter... More

2nd review I have left for this restaurant, I use to eat here for lunch every second week sometimes even once a week but sadly the owners are to money hungry and ignorant to realise they've lost there passion as restauranteurs, I'm saying this because it was the second time in only a few months I have found maggots in... Although the athmosphere and clenliness are just average, the food choice and sizes are good. One main course is big enough for 2 people to share, so be prepared to take a doggy bag home if you order more than one dish. They don't hold a liquour license, though, so you can only have non-alcoholic drinks.

My husband and I visited this small well kept restaurant for lunch. We tried the roast pork laksa and the char kway teow . We thought that the roast pork laksa was bland - too much coconut milk and not enough laksa paste. On the other hand we really loved the char kway teow and on a previous visit we... More

For a place called "Laksa Hut" i was expecting a good laksa. Instead I received coconut milk... I have travelled Asia and had a lot of Laksa in many different places and this was very disappointing.

Came here with family and we shared a variety of dishes, which were tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed the egg spring rolls and pork pancakes. I came to this restaurant last October 2015 and it's still good. Service is friendly too.

Went with grandkids, friendly atmosphere and fast service. Good sized portions and well priced. Not licenced but BYO available. I had the Laksa and found it very spicy for me

Certainly not fine dining, this is a suburban Chinese/Malay no frills restaurant that serves great food. The owners are the cook and front of house (plus more staff) and we have known them and their food for more than 20 years as they used to own and operate The Valley Corner Chinese restaurant in Fortitude Valley where we were regulars....
