We visited in February and so the extensive terrace/gardens were not open. That said, we were blown away by the great soup that was offered as a starter. I had oven-roasted tomato soup - simply delicious. My wife had courgette and asparagus and she too raved about this. My main was salmon baked with a black olive crust. This was... More

Very quaint place tucked away just inside the old capital walls. Great service and good food. Definitely enjoyed our meal here and would recommended to those who want to eat in Mdina.

Having read good things about Bacchus in the guide books we dropped in for a bottle of wine when visiting Mdina for the day. The restaurant is located in one of the old store rooms on the city walls and has limited natural light - mainly roof lights over the reception area. Furnishings and décor are traditional but, to be... More

If you're visiting Mdina for the day, and want a nice lunch Bacchus is one of the top restaurants I have visited and enjoyed a nice meal in Malta. The venue is located in the old city, well located and easy to arrive at. The menu offers the right amount of plated meals, and offering a good variety of food.... More

Can't fault it. Service was absolute perfect and the food was great. We had caprese and carpaccio for starters and sea bream and Bianco lasagne for main courses. They were all excellent. And the cheese platter to finish off was just delicious. You will love this place.

Lovely location. Excellent food, wine and atmosphere. Splendid service deep in the old city of Mdina. So superior to the other restaurants around the outside walls of this fascinating walled city. A real find.
