Wow this place was great, the location, the service, the live musician, the atmosphere and of course the food. We were suprised at the quality of the food since the location is in the heath(with exception of the parmesan popcorn - i didn't quite read...More

We spent most of our evening in this bar (17th June 17'). The attraction was the live singer, he was friendly and sang well. We had a few drinks, left to go to a performance elsewhere and came back for more drinks and food. The...More

My husband and I loved the kantina so much that we went there every time we were in Valletta. Food, services, and prices were all good!

We were recommended this restaurant and it was lovely. You get huge portions - really one meal is enough for two of you. Highly recommend the local beer Cisk - a light lager which I dont normally drink. The Beef Olives are very tasty ....More

We called in for lunch one afternoon and had a really decent meal at a reasonable price. I had the rabbit which was tasty and my wife had fish pasta which she enjoyed. Serve was good as was the value for money.

We had excellent lunch here with family, everyone enjoyed it. I had the Spicy moo, a filled open baguette which was delicious. Great place to sit and watch the world go by in St John's square with good friendly service.

What was wrong with the food? You seem to be self contradictory as you had then and after complaining that the price was beautiful?! (meaning satisfied).

This is a family run business and we do our best to give the home made food feeling. We mainly cook A La Carte therefore the menu changes twice daily, depending on what is fresh during the day. For those that are in more of a rush there are the snacks and burgers menu. Being exactly in the middle of Valletta one could shade themselves from the scorching sun under our lovely trees whilst having their well deserved break.
