For me, this is the best restaurant in malta. Consistency is the word and it applies for great food quality, brilliant service quality and super accommodating ambience. I'd come every day if I could. This place is not to be compared to restaurants in Malta. Let's compare it with the London high end restaurant scene to make it fair... Ps.:... More

Well first I found them by using TripAdvisor. Second i was lucky since I didn't make a RSVP I was a party of 1 but was able to sit by the door and watch 8 other couples get turned away because they didn't have a RSVP. Now with that said, The staff was Fantastic; Explained the specials, the menus and... More

The linguine Caruso with chopped calamari and prawns was the best pasta I had in Malta. And the glass of white local wine they suggested to go with it was excellent.

First of all, this place is situated in the beautiful capital of Valletta. The place can somehow take you a little back in time were people really dinned elegantly, it also gives you a sense of calm. The seating which in my opinion is one of the most important things in a a restaurant is very comfortable. The food is... More

Came here based on the reviews and weren't disappointed.Having not booked (Thursday wet November night) we were surprised how busy it was. There were a lot of locals,a big party, couples and families so a lovely mix. There are a couple of tables in the 'gangway' as you walk to the main restaurant and we're nearly sat there (ok if you don't mind... We visited this restaurant threes times during our stay in Valletta, the appearance is of a high quality restaurant with table cloths, cloth napkins, candles. The ambiance is really nice. The menu is wide with a range of local specialties including fresh fish. Lots of nice touches, arrancini (flavored rice balls)and rolls served before the meal. As with other places... More

We were a little unsure when we first looked in on the historic 16th century surroundings, but the service was excellent and the food was great. Even our thirteen year old daughter was filled up by her chicken and did not have room for the trifles we had for dessert. (None of us had starters - we did not want... More

For a combination of great setting , food, service and value the Preca is unbeatable . The venue gives you a real sense of occasion . But not one that will do major damage to your wallet . The food was really good ,I especially enjoyed the fish cakes which were fantastic and the rabbit . If you like good food... More

Amazing Maltese fish soup! A great find on first visit to Valletta. Washed down with a very nice glass of Chardonnay! Well worth a stop! 😄

The building was built hundreds of years ago, and it's left in almost its original state which makes it most interesting as one's easily led to wonder about its history. We visited three times and the food was always really good.
