Very popular with locals that work nearby. This bustling cafe has a wide range of food all at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and the service was good. We wanted to go back a second time but they appear to be closed on Sundays.

So good we went back twice! Met the owner, very interesting and friendly guy who runs the place with his three sons. Used a lot by the Maltese, always a good sign! They made up our order in front of us, nothing too fancy but...More

Were looking for somewhere that would make a sandwich or baguette from scratch, we were not disappointed. We were made welcome by the staff of this lovely family run café, used a lot by locals and for takeaway food. The building is deceptive as once...More

Good place for an inexpensive quick lunch serving all the naughty combinations that go into a Maltese flat bread ( ftira) with an optional ( but essential) portion of fries on the side. Tired furnishings and interior hasn't changed in years but still comfort food...More

Really good basic cafe. Food was freshly made and really tasty. Unfortunately, we arrived late in the day and they had run out of pasta and baguette so both of us had Maltese bread, toasted with various fillings. These were so delicious! And huge sizes...More

This is the real Malta and at only a few steps off the Main Drag, it is excellent value. Family run, slightly chaotic, but 'from the heart' and massively generous portions. Wish we'd had only one between us! It's tucked in behind a small doorway,...More

A 300 year old house transformed into a cafe/restaurant offering various home made dishes and sweets for regular locals and foreigners alike. The narrow entrance with colorful chairs and little tables leads to a larger area where all daily activity takes place. The cafe offers 70 covers. One will enjoy a friendly approach and enjoys breakfast or lunch just like the locals do. The cafe is placed on the narrow street (Zachary Street) which leads to the main entrance of St. John's Co- Cathedral.
