Arrived in Old Famagusta after an early start from Paphos and hot visits to archeological sites as part of an organised coach trip.. WE were walked through the Turkish delight shop then given an hour for lunch,. After walking up and down for a while in the strong sun and being hassled to eat at places with photos of food... More

By far the best restaurant in the Old City Famagusta to experience the local food. The restaurant works on a prix fixe basis. Probably aroung 15 cold mezes, 7 hot mezzes and a huge plate of a variety of meats followed by desert and fruits. All local produce and there isn't anything brought to the table that you would not... Love these little courtyard restaurants so it was the tucked away, shady, traditional ambience of the place that drew our attention and not (initially) the food, which is most unusual for such foodies as myself and hubby. We were not sure what we were going to get (no menu) so just chose a couple of items (chicken kebab and lamb... More

Only has set menu of meze or BBQ. We had chicken BBQ kebab, large portion which had been marinaded and were delicious. We requested pitta, salad, yogurt etc and there was plenty. Chicken was served on pitta with onion side dish and the usual chips. Attentive service and tasty food but more expensive than other places. Tends to cater for... More

Was told about this restaurant by a family member who had visited it about a month ago who had liked the food and the ambiance of the place. The place looks good and I had called earlier in the day and was told that they did do a meze only and given the price. The starters were good but the... More

If you want to try a meze this is the place to do it. There is a lot of food both hot and cold included in the meze. All very nice tasting. Whilst it is the only option on the menu it is such a good Turkish experience and worth a visit.

We look forward to a meal here every time we visit the island and every time it does not disappoint. The food is delicious, service so friendly and the prices very reasonable. The meat is cooked to perfection and the array of meze is never ending. Lots of locals frequent this restaurant which is a good sign of the quality... More
