If you are tired from all the tourist traps in Cyprus, look no further! Great atmosphere, great food, and generous staff. Definitely a place to return for. Not so easy to find, but you wont regret the search. Enjoy
This restaurant is one of my old haunts and favourites. I made a promise to myself that if ever I returned to Cyprus, I would go back and find Chris's Kleftico. That was 30 years ago! The restaurant is just as good as ever, Nikos and Helena are so welcoming and can't do enough for you...AND the food is still... More
We used to come to Louloudia when Thomas ran the place and stopped going a few years back due to his rude manor! So when we heard that the original owners were back decided to give it another go! We found this "quirky" restaurant cleaner, the food as tasty as ever, and exceptional value for money! Nikos and Elena are... More
Going back to one of our old haunts was really nostalgic! Nicos and Ellana were most welcoming -Ellana's father (Chris) used to run the restaurant years ago! The restaurant is on the outskirts of Vrysoulles (on the way to Ayios Nikolaos and Famagusta). Sue and I went for a Meze and certainly weren't disappointed - the food just kept coming,... More
This was my first time back with Nikos and Elena, I had visited the restaurant when Thomas was running it but it is back to its origional state from my days when I was based at Ayios Niklaos between 2002 -2005. The food was great as it was when I used this restaurant weekly, a really emotional homecoming for me... More
The speciality of this restaurant is the traditional ofton kleftiko which is really very good. Also the restaurant offers Cyprus meze. Prices are logigal.
First time back in 11 years and Nikos and Elena still serve up the best food with a warm and hospitable welcome on top. Probably the best kept secret in Eastern Cyprus.
This has now been taken over by the land owner after kicking out Thomas who had run it for years, the atmosphere has gone completely. The people running it now seem not to put any love into the food it is purely a commercial function. The building itself is nicknamed the chicken shack due to the shingle uneven floor and... More
Having used this restaurant since the late 70's when Elena's parents ran it (I lived locally for a number of years). I was happy to find out that Nikos and Elena were back and cooking again (having rented the taverna out for a number of years). Everything is BBQ'd fresh, I too love the village salad and the Halloumi. The... More
Good afternoon. We too used to visit the restaurant over eight years ago. By chance came across an old card in the apartment and look up Tripadvisor to see if Louloudia Restaurant was still open and was excited when I saw the reviews and it was. So this afternoon we headed out a drive from Ayia Napa to see if we could still find the restaurant as all we could remember was it sat on the side of the road behind bushes and you looked for the BBQ smoke. We found the restaurant but looked as if it had been deserted for years. We had our hopes built up. Can someone please advise if the restaurant has moved, we have one week left and would like to visit. Thank you all in advance.
