Their dark weisbier is the best beer I ever tasted. The food was excellent. The service was not great and they did not really cater to tourists.

Whilst staying in Salzburg, I ate dinner here twice and neither time did it disappoint. The food was gorgeous, good value, good service, little or no wait time (even on weekends). Both times I went, I tried different mains and the person I was with tried different mains as well. We both were delighted with it all. There's a very... More

First of all you have to keep in mind that it is a wheat beer brewery... and they are good but really filling. The service was very nice and attentive. Food was also good, we had some mixed snacks and for main we had the schnitzel and the oven roasted pork (the second was absolutely delicious).

The meal was incredible, we visited twice we loved it so much. The servers were fine, friendly and spoke enough english. However when you get there no one comes up to you and asks if you want to sit down. You need to walk into the building and go to the bar and ask for a seat, it's worth reserving... More

The atmosphere of the place is great and the design is good enough too. The prices are correct. When we walked in to the bar/restaurant nobody wanted to help or welcome us so we had to ask them a table. The bar tenders and waiters were not so nice. They did not serviced what i have ordered so i have... More

Traditional Carinthian/Austrian food. Quality is good and service is quite fast. Large selection of beers. Reasonable prises. It is better to book a table in advance during the weekend.

Tried to get in here on one night only to find it fully booked. Booked for the following day only to turn up and no record of our booking. We were eventually sorted and the food and service was really good. Wiener Schnitzel in particular was excellent. Good range of beers with several excellent Weissebeers. I've given 3 stars due... Die Weiss has everything I love about a local restaurant: good food, friendly customers and above all a terrific atmosphere where you can learn from the people who know Salzburg best, those who live there. We arrived early (about 7) and there were many open seats, but the staff said they were reserved. I get that, and it recommends our... More

Unlike other reviewers, I did not have a positive experience. Was directed here by another restaurant as they were closed for a private function on Thursday November 17th. This is a low end brew pub at best. I was seated and provided with a menu. That staff member vanished. The place was busy and people seemed to be enjoying themselves;... More

We decided to visit Die Weisse on our last night in Austria! The brewery pub is a 15-20 minute walk from the 'Old Town' or a stones throw north from the Hotel Mozart, Mirabell Park etc. When we walked in the place was absolutely packed! Yet again we didn't have a reservation but were quickly seated. Our server Viktor explained... More
