If you're there in the summer and can sit outside, it's probably nice, but the interior is a little dingy. Food was average, certainly not worth seeking out. And really enjoyed the friend of the server sitting at the bar (one side of the room), who borrowed scissors from the server and proceeded to clip split ends out of her... More

Good looking place. They had a nice assortments of wines, beets and cocktails. The food is typical austrian with a modern twist. We had the knodels and wiener schnitzel. Both were good. The vegetables were especially good. We didn't like that we had to wait very long for our food and it was hard to get the attention of the... More

The place was mentioned in our city guide. We booked a table there and food wise we were not disappointed. But truly the waiter could make an effort! Chanterelles tartare for me: a little more seasonning wouldn't harm. Goat cheese salad with raspberry dressing: yummy! Baby artichokes and roasted vegetables for me: I loved the taste, the crunch, the seasoning...... More

Visited this restaurant yesterday. The restaurant was packed outside but inside there were only us and another table, I.e. you can't really say it was fully booked. Nonetheless it took the food 1 hour to arrive! There were no apologies or updates on our food from neither of the 2 waiters until we asked them 40 minutes after our order.... More

Chose this restaurant as it came up in the top 10 restaurants for Wiener Schnitzel in Vienna, and we weren't disappointed. Service was good, wines reasonable price and food good. Easy to get to on Number 13 bus from main railway station.

Small restaurant with very good food. It took a little long until the first dishes were on the table, but after that everything was perfect.

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
