This is a chain that has several locations around Vienna where you can get many varieties of seafood e.g., shrimp, salmon, octupus, cooked many different ways, e.g., baked or fried. You wait on line to order and choose from what's displayed and can do both take out or eat in. The staff was not really friendly or helpful and the... More

A chain with several seafood varieties. Crowded, sometimes long lines. You can easily find something to eat if you like sea food.

Loved it. In a town of boiled meat, sausages and mashed potato we, as non-meat eaters, found this a great place to stop for lunch. Great seafood selection.

I so loved shrimps salad in bowl of potato chips with boiled egg! Costs 9.75 euro, and if you add about 150 gr shrimps in different magnificient sauces inside that salad, taht wooooow!!!

If fish based dishes, hot or cold are your thing and you don't want a lengthy sit down meal with waiter service then you can't go wrong here. There are a number of these scattered around Vienna, nothing fancy but clean and serving a wide variety of fish based meals, snacks and sandwiches at very reasonable prices ( quite important in... Stopped for lunch although it wasn't what we wanted to eat. Seafood was very fresh and well cooked. Price isn't cheap for the kind of outlet. It's about 20 euros per head for a single course meal and a drink.

Was desperately hungry after a day cycling along the Wachau Valley, returning to Vienna past ten on a Monday night. I was determined to eat right and avoid resorting to fast food, and it seemed too late to settle into a fancy restaurant. Nordsee provided the exact solution. I entered into this cafeteria-style eatery and ordered salmon on spinach with... More

Immediately I would like to say what it's not a cheap place. But if you like smoked salmon I suggest you try Räucherlachs-Wrap. It's not so cheap, 3.79 euro, but taste really good. About an hour forward I don't know since I never take anything else :)

Our family stopped here for lunch after a long stroll. It was quite a busy day and many people were lining up to eat. The prices of their food is quite expensive to think that it is a fast food chain. i guess it is because of their location near the stores and quite a lot of tourists along this... More

You can choose from a set-price menu or order various seafood dishes. A good choice for a quick self-service meal in the city centre during your sightseeing. It's quite tasty ,though not on a cheaper side.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
