I am surprised that this little gem has not been on the radar of more wine lovers when they come to Vienna! It is quite small and a one man show for the most part. The bar tender/ sommelier/ chef was very knowledgeable about the local wines as well as international- and the selection of wines by the 1/16 (Very... More

We walked here and were pleased to find it a quiet wine bar (rather than a pub) the interior is clever using maps as table and wall decorations. We drank the local beer and has pasta based meals which were cooked fresh and very tasty, good value for money and would recommend you stop by.

Me and boyfriend recently stayed at the holiday inn, in Vienna. On our first night we strolled across this little gem of a wine bar just one minute down the road .. and we returned every night without fail .. I think that says A lot in itself! The wine was beautiful, there was a large selection all reasonably priced,... More

Came for a late night drink so can't vouch for the food except a very good plate of cold meats we tried a number of interesting small l Austrian producers including some natural wines... More

We were looking for a romantic, cozy, intimate dinner spot on our last night in Vienna, and found just that. Our waiter was also our bartender and our chef and our menu-translator. He greeted us with such kindness and ease leading us to a small room of tables. Maps of different wine regions decorated the walls. His wine recommendations were... More

I went here my first night in Vienna. Very small but cute. The bartender also cooked my dinner right there. It was fresh and delicious. Their wine selection was wonderful. I did a tasting menu of 6 Gruner Veltliners. I bought some to take home.

Great selection of WInes, a tad expensive and be aware that the tasting menus appear to be the same price as buying the individual items. I was most impressed with the food, surprisingly good. Would definitely recommend going here.

Thank you for taking the time to Review us and the positive comments to our menü. Depending on which wines we have open we tend to hit the price range right across the board, from lower preised basic Grüner Veltliner over to rare wines at the higher price end. We hope to welcome you again soon. Kind regards. All at... More

If you like an intimate cozy spot to enjoy a great selection of wine, you'll love Pub Klemo! The owners are just as wonderful! We were in Vienna during the Christmas holidays, and I threw my husband a suprise birthday celebration. From start to finish, Tracy was lovely, she organized wine, food, and desert, and ensured no one had an... More

Pub Klemo is a rare find . As a winemaker and an owner of a wine bar in Texas I can say the list of wines was amazing. The service was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We had 2 flights of wine. One Red and one White along with a antipasto plate. The bill was only 25 euro. The Pub is... More

Staying in Margareten

Neighbourhood Profile
Margareten
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
