I was sitted only after 15 mins, the rest was even worth: during the whole time I was ‘enjoying the weather and peaceful day’ on the terrace - 20(!!!) mins before the only servant took my order and 25 mins before my cappuccino was brought-...More

We were a group of 7 ranging from <10 to >70 and had dinner in the restaurant rather than the cafe. Service was good, views were good, drinks were good and the only slight difficulty for us was that the food was quite 'grown up'...More

I had a salmon filet with bacon, beans creme, tardivo radicchio and almonds and a fresh salad. It was very tasty and I was surprised by the combination between salmon and beans creme. I recommend Motto am Fluss for its exquisite quisine!

Old University Quarter
North of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna suddenly
turns small, winding and medieval, opening up to
legendary places such as the Basilisk sculpture at
Schönlaterngasse, as well as glamorous baroque
façades, courtyards and churches. Take 45 minutes for
a casual stroll through Bäckerstrasse,
Sonnenfelsgasse, Köllnerhofgasse, Grashofgasse, and
Schönlaterngasse. This quarter is packed with stories
