We only had the one day and night in Vienna, and having spent the day wandering the Christmas markets safe to say we were freeing. It was actually the lonely planet guidebook that recommended this place, so after a few minutes finding it on the map we went straight there. It is possibly the best thing I've eaten in my... More

During my visit I felt I had to wait for about 5 minutes at the counter before anyone acknowledged me. I ordered the Falafel pita, which wasn't particularly tasty and they didn't make it fresh in front of me or ask if I wanted any hot sauce or anything. After enjoying some exceptional falafel in the past I definitely don't... More

Great Food, nice waiters. Only waited 5 minutes for my meal and the location is perfect! Very close to shoppingstreet Mariahilferstrasse and good for a break while shopping or dinner with friends.

Average food, overcooked vegetables with unusual choice of spices (Indian) for middle eastern food. Cash only.

We read the reviews that had varied opinions and decided to take a chance. It was a bit disappointing and we wished we had gone elsewhere. The 'chicken' pitta was cold and it seemed they had forgotten to put any chicken in it - the beer in other places was better,

I went there with my girlfriend. The burgers were cleary just heated up in the Microwave. The Buns where very soft at first but then turned into rocks after they cooled down. Which is a clear sign of Microwaving. I also think that the place is for the quality way too pricey.

They do some good falafel pitas with hummus and veggies. Prices are decent, specially compared to what you have to spend around Vienna old town. The place looks clean, the staff is nice and speak a bit of English.

Ordered a vegetarian falafel pita, clearly marked "V" for vegetarian on the menu. Instead I got one half filled with chicken, which I refused. Clearly an honest mistake made by the kitchen. However, had to pay for the uneaten item. Left the place disgusted by the service, I would have expected a new pita or at least not having to... More

Food was not bad but service was mediocre at best. Sweet potato fries was not bad though. Conveniently located off Mariahilferstrasse.

We'v ordered meat patty, tune salad and grilled chicken fillet. Everything was far from good: 1) meat patty was oversalted and with paper taste; 2) tune salad with tune from the can; 3) grilled chicken with lots of carry and salt; 2 beggars had just walking around the tables in 30 mins. 2 stars instead of 0 for good vegetable... Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins.
