So my number one tip if you go to this restaurant is to book yourself (our hotel made our booking) and get a confirmation from the owner. We arrived on New Year's Eve to be told we had no booking-this was not surprising as the owner's booking system was a scrappy piece of paper with names scrawled everywhere! All credit... More

What a real shame that the service here is as bad as it is, the pizza is actually pretty good! Starters were fine, not great and then trying to get them to clear our table was a challenge and order another carafe of wine! We want to spend money, it shouldn't be difficult! My partner and I shared a pizza... More

Booked based on reviews as we so often do. I eat out a lot and never have I received such poor service. Four starters ordered, two starters arrived and waited ages for the rest of the order. One was a Capresse salad with the rubberiest mozzarella ever, which was disappointing as it was one of the most expensive starters on... More

I totally agree with Peter's previous review. The pizza was fine but the service was so poor that I'd encourage others to avoid. Our pizza was served very quickly - so quickly in fact I was still eating my salad. Then we couldn't get attention from the server for over an hour. We hoped for another round of drinks, dessert... "We love pizza, and you won't find much better than in this cosy little place. It had a great atmosphere too. I've seen people moan about the service, but they're being picky - it was fast and efficient, and if you actually take the time to speak to the staff, they're really friendly. And even if they weren't, I'd still... More

Nice place and food, but the service was so poor that I would consider the restaurant a no-go. Don't expect anyone to smile at you, to look somewhere in your direction while placing the food on your table, or even to ask you if you want any desserts or coffees. Also note that the card machine is not working (no... More

I'm a New Yorker who has traveled extensively to Italy. The pizza in this restaurant is terrific. It has the best four cheese pizza I have had outside of Italy (except for a place in Provence). The pasta was good. We came to eat here twice! Make a reservation on weekends as they get booked up fast.

Lovely no frills restaurant with good food. Slightly off the beaten track but if you want an understated dining experience with good quality food, this is the spot. The service could be more proactive but pleasant nonetheless.

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.
