4th May at 0825. I asked for an extra hot latte, knowing my last coffee from here was warm. I was served a 'extra hot' latte and upon starting to drink it, it was again warm. I asked for it to be made hotter and was told 'NO'. I still can't get my head around the depth of rudeness throughout... More

This little bakery is perfect to start your day (tour of the city) with great coffee (cappuccino). Nice, modern interior design, nice service and great pastry for breakfast.

Our Uber driver recommended it and it was great and quick! Breakfast at felzl I got this yummy cottage cheese, avocado, tomato open faced sandwhich! Also there was free water, first time I've seen this in Europe!

First, i don't get why this backery is reviewed as restaurant. Living close by, visited couple of times thinking that "low profile - no big chain backery" brings more on the table. Well, it doesn't. Bit pricy, some tarts are really good, but in general , average good Viennese bakery!

Felzl is a little café which we very quickly developed the habit of visiting every morning of our morning boost before going site seeing. Their pastries are cheap and excellent, especially the little coconut thingies, which are superb even if they don’t look like it. The coffee was very well made – the best we had in Vienna. Most importantly... More

Staying in Margareten

Neighbourhood Profile
Margareten
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
