It’s ranked as #16 restaurant in Vienna per Trip Advisor. Traditional Austrian cuisine with reasonable price. The restaurant has a lot of antiques as decoration to make it very much like s family restaurant. A nice location and great food to start your Vienna trip.

This place is so popular with the locals its difficult to get in. Our hotel booked us a table so we were lucky. This is a couple run restaurant - front of house covered by one chap who does it all with humour and a...More

We were determined to eat here as the reviews are very good. The food was indeed tasty; however, the restaurant is something of a victim of its own success. We were seated near the door and I counted 30 people being turned away between 6.00...More

The food was excellent, the mixed grill was the best ever and we enjoyed the enthusiastic multitasking of the only waiter. He was working flat out but managed to look after everyone. He said he was always single handed and was happy with it. The...More

The schnitzel was great! It was not dried at all and the soup was very tasty. This is a traditional place with great food and service, make sure you have cash they don’t take credit cards.

A friendly place. The wiener schnitzel was very good indeed, both light and tasty - in fact the only problem was that it kept floating off my plate.... no, just kidding, but it was excellent!

My wife and I had dinner here after enjoying a day in the old city. The restaurant appears modest, and probably seats about 50 guests. Be warned, the restaurant fills up quickly and reservations are recommended! The sole waiter on duty was very friendly and...More

Glad that I stopped in this past week when they opened. People were being turned away because the restaurant was booked. I asked to take a reservation when it became available. The waited asked me to come back at 8pm and I would be able...More
