We had a lovely meal here. The food was tasty, especially the Arabic spicy sausage starter. Main courses were well-flavoured, and enormous in quantity. The restaurant was clean, and had a relaxed feel. The ambience feels very Lebanese - everyone sits within a big tent in the basement. Small quibble - I would have liked at least one free refill... Had a dinner here a few weeks ago while visiting Vienna. Waiters were rude, food quality not so good and in general would advise to give it a miss in favor of nicer Arabic restaurants such as Lord of S in the 1st district.

you will not find the entrance easily - a narrow door, and down a flight of stairs. and then you immerse yourself into the orient great athmosphere, good to perfect Food, very friendly Service .. and if you want, you can try a Shisha and on Weekends there is live Dance Performance ...

Al-Fayrooz is located in the University district. It was quite empty when we initially sat down for dinner but got busier later. Overall an average Lebanese restaurant offering decent food. The décor is a little dated but restaurant is clean. The hummus was lovely as were the salads and soup. Service is a little slow considering they weren’t busy. Good... More

The food was just okay - average I would say considering that I am from middle east and I've experienced alot of restaurants in this cuisine over the world. Not the best I would say, but not bad as well.

I love middle eastern food and chose this restaurant for its location close to the Ring in Vienna. The welcome and service was adequate but could hardly be described as effusive. Food was OK but nothing to write home about. Four of us had a meal and all the meats were dry and slightly overlooked rather than succulent. If they... More

Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
