Excellent casual spot outside of the main touristy areas. Staff was excellent. We enjoyed a flight of Austrian wines. Owner explained each varietal and was very friendly. We shared several food offerings and they were very good. Very reasonable prices!

For anyone that likes wine - this is a must visit in Vienna. The owner and his staff really know their Austrian wines (all they serve) and this is more like a guided tasting than just pouring a few glasses of wine. We had the...tasting of 6 wines, 4 white, 2 red and a large meat and cheese board. We got to learn a lot about Austria, their wines, and how different some varieties can really be. The experience was fantastic. Even if you’re not a wine nerd, the atmosphere, wine, and food was very nice. We all loved it.More

Incredibly informative, excellent service, and excellent vetting of Austrian wines for us to taste. Even if you can go to the vineyards, this shop and wine bar is so informative, it will undoubtedly lead you in the right direction to select which wineries to visit....And here, you can select wines to take home and they will take care of all the details to ship the wine for you. Again, great service! You must go here and experience this place.More

Located in the city centre near the Schwedenplatz metro station. Possibility to eat outside and interiors are nice. Selection of wine is good, but food menu is limited. Service is friendly and staff is prepared to give tips on what to choose. Paid 55 €...for a bottle of red austrian wine and a big meat plate (pay attention that the price of the bottle is different, in my case triple, if you buy it or if you consume it inside the local).More

Tucked away in a nice little corner, this place was a true find. On my first night in town we rushed over here to catch some bites and get info on local wine touring. Roland was so helpful and fun. True hospitality, wonderful local wines,...delicious gulash, tartare and carpaccio. A must go for wine lovers, and there are also some local beers. Cheers, Roland! And thank you for the recommendation to go to Nusdorf mountain.More

We lost count of the times we visited this please. It us, by far, the best small bar in Vienna we visited. Roland, the owner was there, as usual. Friendly and a great person to talk to. The wine, cheese and the tiramisu were great....We will be back.More

Insider wine boutique & bar in Vienna s 1st district. Serves beautiful Austrian wines from select winemakers (not from the most famous, but probably from the best) and cold cuts & local delicacies. Owner Roland is an expert in wine, a real connaisseur, and a...trained chef. The Weinkehr bar offers several tasting rooms and a typical Viennese Schani garden al fresco. A MUST TRY in Vienna... 🍷More

Great evening meal and wine tasting. We had the pork and sauerkraut, which tasted beautiful along with a boar curry and a plate of cold meats. Lots of variety and well worth it’s very reasonable price. The owner took us through the wine tasting (we...choose 6 Austrian Whites). He explained the different grapes and where they came from. Lovely meal I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant.More

Small, cosy and simple wine bar. We had the wine set menu paired with a mixed platter. Highly recommended if you are looking for a small / quite wine bar.

We booked a table as we knew the place was small and popular. We chose to sit at the bar as we knew the owner likes to tell customers about his wines. We both did the 6 x red Austrian wine tasting .The owner and...his assistant (who was doing a course on wine at University) were very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. We spent an enjoyable evening wine tasting and sharing a meat and cheese platter with some nice bread.More
