The place has nice outdoor seating in a quiet courtyard. However, the food was average at best. We had good wine though, so I would still recommend the place for a drink, but would go elsewhere for food.

Food is awful! Tasteless burrito that was hard on the outside (too long in a oven probably) and had a terrible filling of canned vegetables and a few pieces of bone dry, tasteless chicken. My wife had some grilled meat which was OK but overpriced and which came with bad side dishes. I am 100% sure the products used are... More

We visited Andino's on a Saturday evening, the day after my Birthday. I had hoped to enjoy an extended celebration Latin style, but unfortunately it didn't happen. My Argentinian boyfriend used to go very often 10 years ago and spoke highly of it saying there was always live music at the weekends and the food was very authentic. I checked... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
