Had awesome Sushi and exotic tuna dish... It's also good for take-out, however it lacks the romanticism most sushi places suffer from.

We went to Teka sushi on an evening, following some reviews from TA. Knowing they close at 10PM, and they're always busy, I was happy to feel very welcome even although we walked in at close to 9pm. We had a place by the window, the food was very quick to arrive, it looked amazing and tasted just as good.... More

We've been coming here for years and the quality of Teka Sushi has consistently been well above the standard in this city, while the prices are only a little above average. Very good vegetarian/vegan options. A visit to this establishment is always a treat.

Very simple atmosphere but excellent food - maki, sushi in all possible varieties. I also like the soups very much!

This place got so many reviews so we wanted to try to see if it was all that it was cracked up to be. Sorry to say, it was not that good. The employees are rude and the people in the area are even more rude to foreigners and it does not matter if you speak German. The food was... More

Being a returning customer from the very beginning, I am somehow biased. Very busy place, quite always crowded, nevertheless consistent delights always served with a smile. Try the Tataki salad, a tuna tartare with pumpkin seed oil. Or one of the Makis with hazelnut fillings like Teka Maki - Avocado, shrimp, hazelnut. You will return too ...

We are regular customers and were not dissappointed a single time. It's a little bit on the outskirts for those travelling, but if you are in Vienna for a longer stay, like 3 days or more, and love sushi - this is where you have to go!

Not a great place to eat in, as it’s cramped and they are so busy with take-away orders, but simply some of the best sushi around. After ordering from here regularly for the past 14 years, I can confidently say that the quality almost never wavers. I can’t comment on the cooked food, as the sushi is so excellent that... More

the place is nothing special, the tempura is not light as it should be, and sushi is average, nothing impressive. i would not recommend to go there for a sushi.

Neighbourhood Profile
The 18th district is the most inconspicuous of the listed neighbourhoods. Where else can you still watch card players at a Viennese coffeehouse, or listen to authentic Viennese folk songs with a local audience? Like most respected Viennese neighborhoods, Währing has its own street market, Kutschkermarkt, where you can best feel its pulse. One of Währing’s loveliest outdoor destinations is the small garden palace and museum Geymüllerschlössel. The exquisite 19th century interior is spiced up by contemporary art installations curated by the Museum of Applied Arts / Contemporary Art (MAK).
