Please avoid this place at any rate. The service level is terribly poor. As a group of 15 people, we had to wait for 1h30....until our order arrived on the table. Food is, what to say, average. Not a place I recommend in Vienna.

our firstime to eat on your place, and wow the place has a very pleasant ambiance, the food (we had spareribs & baked potatoes) were excellent!! on top of the warmth service of your staff, we were attended by a young man who knows what he's doing, a very polite gentleman, neat and warm!! Right on Frank's!!

Despite the restaurant is rather new, they have already made a name. The place has very good staff&service and recommendations if you cannot decide what to eat. I ordered pizza because I didnt want to eat steak but their main menu is Steak so everyone goes there for a steak. If you are a tourist or have tourist friends, dont... More

had a couple of dinners with colleagues and clients over last months; service was always very customer orientated and respected our foreign guests; everybody loved the starters w. fresh bread and dips; the steaks and burgers as main meal were always excellent and prepared as ordered (medium or medium well), even my italian client loved it; so, for next visit... Popped in for a drink , pint of local stuff and an Expresso cocktail. Lovely place. Didn't eat as we had a AlReady but would go back no problem . Looks great for a steak.

The food and service were superb, I had Caribbean chicken and jasmine rice, not very Viennese but tasty nonetheless, very atmospheric with a lot of local people, we were lucky but would recommend booking a table.

First time back in Vienna for nearly 4 years. Revisited this restaurant after all this time. Just the same. Good steaks and Caribbean chicken. Well patronised by the locals which says it all really.

Everything was good until it came to paying. Prior to the bill coming the service was good and the waiter was nice but when the bill came he became very pushy and informing us that a tip wasn't included. We were going to tip in anyway but he pushed it too much so that we left very little for him.

Description
I am pleased to present to you novelties from the American kitchen in my restaurant FRANK'S, which you won't find anywhere else in Vienna. Of course, burgers and spare ribs from this cuisine are here to stay, but the surprising thing for many people is that there is a health-conscious American kitchen alongside it that uses only the freshest ingredients for its dishes. This high-quality American cuisine has its roots in the Italian kitchen, which found its way into America with the immigration of many Italians. Pasta, pizza, and steak are firmly joined together by history. With my team, I have made it my goal to bring you a little closer to this straightforward "American way of life." I also make it my goal to serve the freshest ingredients, which are prepared à la minute with few exceptions for each guest in a friendly - but down-to-earth - manner in a unique restaurant atmosphere. I hope you enjoy your trip to America and come back again and again as our regular guest. Yours, Klaus Piber

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
