We came to eat here after 10pm on Friday evening. There were quite many people but it still wasn't over crowded, not a problem to get food at that hour either. Staff was really friendly and food was good, atmosphere with candles and old furniture was really charming. There were a nice mix of both younger and older people. Can... More

This is an awesome Restaurant with fantastic food, great service, friendly and always welcoming and they serve two of my favourites - Pilsner Urquell on tap and Johnnie Walker Black. Wonderful atmosphere whether you're a couple or out with friends. Their menu is robust and everything on the mixed grill was succulent and moist. Well cooked food.

For once I decided to have a meal. Decided on the beef skewer at NOK 189. Sorry...only the meat was up to par, the rest...tasteless bulgur and bread, a bit too runny tzatziki sort of thing and plain green salad. NOK 72 for a glass of house red is very acceptable so will keep uo meeting with friends for drinks.... More

First thing the ober told me, was to move to a tiny table since I was in my own. Window seats are only available if you're visiting in a group. There were plenty of empty tables and I was there for a quick coffee. The staff maintained stressed and unfriendly. Although the coffee was good, will not go back. It... More

Noah's Ark is a nice and large restaurant located in Grünerløkka district of Oslo. Turkish food combined with Norwegian desserts... it works. The quality is ok, the taste is ok, the service is ok. Well, everything is ok, but not outstanding. A little bit of passion and light into the restaurant and the meals would make them perfect though. Still... More

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. I live near by and regularly visit several times a month. This is a relaxed restaurant to go to for lunch, coffee, dinner, drinks - anything! It is really cheap and the food is excellent. Try the "Noahs Ark spesial kebab" - köfte meat, bulgur, great salad, tzatziki and delicious garlic bread. Together with Urquell... More

... I know, the title doesn't bring your thoughts to new nordic cuisine with tiny portions consisting of more garnish than main ingredients, but then again, why would it? This is the kind of place you take your family to sunday brunch every week, or sit for hours receiving free refills of coffee for hours while writing a book or... More

Grünerløkka has for about 15 years now, been a trendy and vibrant area of Oslo. But for us who frequented Grünerløkka before it became fancy, Noas Ark brings back memories. 20 years ago, Noas Ark was the only decent restaurant in the area. But it is so much more than decent. It is a classic. Delicious Turkish food, great atmosphere,... More

For locals like me, this place is a bit like the diner in the Seinfeld series. It's a great place to have a beer, meet friends or have a bite to eat. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious -- differently-aged people from all walks of life come here. Food is good and plentiful, with a focus on traditional pub food... More

I have visited this restaurant many times, but it's been a while since the last time I was there. Food has always been OK to great, this time I really enjoyed the Kebab, who is served as it should. Also, not too expencive and cosy.
