This is a really nice restaurant if you are looking for Norwegian food and if you like beer. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. The restaurants offers a wide variety of beers.

The atmosphere took us back in time. The furniture(including bar and booths) were designed with a lot of oak. The appeal of this style make this restaurant look more like a pub. The owners have obviously decided to keep this theme alive with their food...More

We visited the local pub 2 days ago. This is a nice pub. Also the staff was nice and professional this evening. They have a very big selection of good beer. And this evening it was cosy live music, but a bit high voulume.

Handverkerstuene is centrally located across from Hotel Bristol in the city centre. The restaurant has traditions all the way back to 1885, and today the place combines rustic charm with tasteful modern design. The menu consists of rustic dishes inspired by the French, Belgian and German cuisine. Håndverkerstuene also has one of Norway's biggest beer selections. Håndverkerstuene takes pride in its work to improve the culinary status of beer and food by preparing food with beer and making beer recommendations for every dish on the menu.
