We had some sushi from there and that was delicious as expected of course. If I am not wrong this is a small place so we have to take our meal to go home.

I've been trying a lot of the places that sell sushi in Bergen (as I live here), but in my opinion, Ichiban has the best. They don't have tables, so this is for take out only. But in summertime, me and a friend have ordered from here and eaten in one of the parks in the city. The menu is... More

Good sushi, not great. A bit tasteless. This is mainly a take away place. No miso soup available, no alcohol licence, service poor, sushi served in plastic containers, no wasabi. A distinctive smell of old cooked oil in the air, which lingered on my clothes the next day. £65.00 for two set meals and two bottles of mineral water. If... More

The sushi was tasty. With the great rice and fresh fish this was thebest sushi I have had in a long time. All though no the cheepest even by norway standards this would be worth a repeat vist. The seaweed salad was yummy too!!

Good service, nice drinks (excellent wines). Sushi looked good. Take a seat outside, if possible. Very gentile waiters.

This is the place to go if you're in a hurry and want OK / good sushi at a fair price. Varied menu, perfect for take-out. Dine-in is not recommended.

Not a traditional sushiplace, more in an american sushi tradition. Not that that means its bad. Good flavours and some nice combinations. Remember, if you want take-away the wait can be a bit long. For big platters the order needs to be in the previous day.

I've tried many sushi resturants in Bergen, but this is always and will always be the best. They no longer have the big resturant that they had some months ago, but they have a take away place, with some chairs to sit on. I recommend crispy tuna maki, crazy tuna maki and lava maki. Big chunks of sushi with a... More

Couldn't be more satisfied with my first visit to Ichiban. Tried the California maki with really fresh and juicy red king crab, and a Futo maki with spicy softshell crab, homemade kimchi, avocado and panko topping. Rice cooked to perfection and really good ginger. Service was fast with polite and friendly staff and I got extra ginger at no charge.... More
