We had a lovely lunch here and would recommend the restaurant as somewhere to eat good food at reasonable prices. It seemed to be a family owned and run restaurant and they were very welcoming.

Have read many bad reviews below on the restaurant, some points are obviously true, don't expect a nice set up decors with fancy chairs or table set up in the sand. Seems to be a family business in their yard and what's the most interesting thing is the service you have there. Simple people who serve you with the heart,... More

We were brought here by our Taxi driver who when he heard it was our first wedding anniversary said he knew just where to take us.. with no specific restaurant in mind for that evening we decided to take a chance on it! As I see someone mentioned below it does feel a bit like sitting in a tent attached... More

Looking for something different. This was certainly that. Hijacked off the street and settled into what can only be called a tent added on to a house. The food was okay and reasonably priced. The waiter was over attentive probably because we were alone in the restaurant. Left smiling but don't know why. An experience

Really lovely family run restaurant. The dad catches the fish every day, the mother cooks and the son runs the front of house. Lovely food, very fairly priced and a great spot to eat it you are staying in the north of the island. The son in particular is very friendly - make sure you ask to try the prune... More

As others have mentions this is sorta a trap laid by the staff and taxi drivers. AVOID. the food is terribly priced and bland. Service was fine and even friendly but this is certainly a trap. Watch OUT!

We believe drivers are approached to take their tourists to this restaurant. Be vigilant to redirect your driver if they take you here. It is extremely expensive with prices you'd expect to pay at a classy restaurant and the food served to us was bland (old chips, watery curry etc). It would have been less offensive if the prices weren't... More

From the outside looks like a hole in the wall and the Outside seating is nothing special. This place is frequented by locals, especially taxi drivers... I have been there already several times and the friendly waiter - guess the son of the owner - always recognizes me & greets me with a great smile. I always order the same,... More

The food was very tasty with fresh fish and seafood (the owner is a fisherman). The service was excellent with a very friendly and entertaining host who made our dining experience of the mauritian cuisine even nicer. The price is reasonable. Was just a bit disappointed with the Ti-punch which was lacking rum!

Overly expensive and overrated, we regret having followed a taxi driver's recommendation. Same prices as in expensive European countries, in fact, you eat better for less somewhere else.
