We have been to lots of Witherspoon pubs, cheap and cheerful normally but that was the worst one ever, fish and chips ?fish was dried up batter and you hunted for the fish, the best part of the meal was the peas. Hunters chicken cold, and chips Luke warm, pub was full and was really looking forward to our meal... More

1920's cinema converted by good old Wetherspoons. Interesting architecture, if you're into that sort of thing. While you're looking beer is only £2.49 a pint. We didn't eat but loads were. It's Wetherspoons, you know what you get.

came in for a pint while away for weekend. Pub used to be a theatre (hence the name) Pub is big light and has rather grand in keeping with its previous use. Normal food and drinks for the chain. Friendly staff

Visited on the first night of our weeks holiday. Unfortunately won't be returning, food was hot and quickly served so we did enjoy our meal, the problem was it was very untidy, tables not cleared or cleaned, rubbish on the floor, paper, serviettes etc

Came here for breakfast - food is pretty much the same as any other Wetherspoons - good quality and good value. The building has been sympathetically converted from an old theatre, retaining many of the original features. Only downside is that due to the origins of the building, there's not a lot of natural light.

We visited this Wetherspoons for their Tuesday night steak night. We found a table in the front window of this large pub. Although the pub was busy the food was served promptly and was well cooked.

This place is great, very big so plenty of tables. Food was good and service was brilliant, loads of choice, as always with wetherspoons. Can't fault this place at all. Would use again if in the area.
