I booked this table for mom and dads wedding anniversary yesterday, 2nd September, while we were in Llandudno. What a fabulous experience. We all had afternoon tea. Came here with my daughter whilst on holiday for a pot of tea and some scones. Scones were served warm with butter cream and jam and were really fresh and light. The pot of (loose leaf) tea was just UNREAL I dont know if its...just me but its so hard to find a nice cup of tea when you are out. Will be going back again next time we are in llandudno.More
Visited here with my mum a couple of times whilst on holiday in Llandudno and it’s just as we remember it! We opted for simply toast and beans on toast on our first visit followed by delicious cake! On our second visit a light lunch...was in order which were really lovely. I had a ham sandwich and my mum had a ham and tomato sandwich. Both were really lovely and complimented with a lovely side salad. Now - to the main event - the cakes! We both opted for the same cake both times as they were so good! My mum had a coffee cake and described it as “proper coffee cake - how it should be!” And I had the chocolate cake. You have to try it for yourself - one of the best I’ve had! The new owners are lovely and cannot so enough for you. We can’t wait to visit again on our holidays.More
Popped into this lovely tea room for a drink and a cake 🤩 such a lovely and friendly atmosphere. Loved all the little touches! The toilet was well kitted out and really friendly staff! ❤️

Booked characters tea house last week.A lovely lady answered the phone and told me they were reopening next week so I Booked a table for 5 people .on arrival the door was locked and a lady from in side opened the door and told me...that it was under new management and we was there first customers. We were shown the big table in the middle of the floor they did not rush us into ordering and a very relaxed atmosphere. Tea arrived and then the sandwiches so freshly made some of the best sandwiches I have tasted and the tea was something else.if you are looking for a nice tea room this is the place for you. If you're looking for a brunch or lunch or afternoon tea, this is the place to go. We were a group of 6 and we'd asked at another nearby place for a table for 6. They said they didn't do them, so we left. We...walked to Characters and asked if they had a table for 6. Without any hesitation they put 2 tables together and put 6 chairs round for us. We were made to feel so welcome and the food was scrumptious. A lovely place with friendly staff and beautiful food. The cakes and scones are to die for. Definitely be back again next time we're in Llandudno. Thanks to all the staff.More

Fantastic service lovely quirky design. The ladies serving us could not have been nicer. The hike made soup and sandwiches were ace and I haven't event got to the cakes and scones. Fantastic place, lovely atmosphere and well worth the visit.
Best afternoon tea in Llandudno by a country mile. Never had a better scone. Strongly recommend a visit. Great service too.
We came to Chatacters today as a treat from my husband's parents, as a wedding anniversary gift. And as ever, Characters doesn't fail to impress. I have always loved the quirkiness of the cafe, & how none of the cups & dishes match. I LOVE...the teapots, especially mine today, which was like a Teddy bears picnic. Sooo cute!! We always have afternoon tea at Characters. It's always delicious, & good value for money at £14.95 each. I've noticed they sometimes run the odd last minute deal through their social media - so keep your eyes peeled!! It's super handy now Characters accept card payment - it's very rare I have cash on me, so just makes it easier. I also love the new added flower decor. It looks really pretty. Thanks to the lovely, friendly team, as always. We will be back again soon.More
