Returned to dine with some friends for lunch and once again the food was superb. We all had the fish pie which was delicious. For dessert I had the lemon posset served with a shortbread biscuit which was devine to finish a wonderful meal. It reminded me that I need to visit this wonderful restaurant more often. I will return... More

I visited the Siege house last week with my family and can honestly say it was the best meal I have had in a while! Even on a busy Saturday night the service was quick and the staff were really friendly and attentive. The menu was amazing and the food was delicious! Will definitely be returning here, the lunch menu... More

The afternoon tea costs around £12 depending on which one you choose and if you want prosecco. Included in the price is four different flavoured sandwiches. The brie and cranberry was particularly delicious. You also get, I think, 5 petit four including a macaroon and a French fancy- all homemade by the way Mr Kipling wasn't involved at all. Finally... Stopped by with my wife for a pint and some lunch starters. Attractive, informal interior. Very comfortable seating. Tried 2 starters. The baked Brie was good, little bread but more provided when asked. Hummus & Tzatziki was small and a little bland. Staff very friendly. Overall pleasant experience and would return to try their food again.

The food was great. I had the scallops and belly pork, which were both amazing. It wasn't that busy while we ate but still had ample rest between courses. Which I do think is important. And all the staff that served our table had commendable manners, without being over the top. Thank you x
