The upstairs restaurant is usually staffed by Poppy and Helen. Perfect first class service, very efficient. The Fish and chips are just the best always well cooked, always hot and very tasty. I call in whenever I'm in town many thanks first class

We came, we saw and we ate extremely well!! We travelled 3 hours for this meal and it didn’t disappoint...except they had sold out of their fantastic steak pie...heartbroken, but the scampi was lovely and a very good alternative. Chips are the best though. Best...More

City centre eatery with comfortable seating and really nice food Freshly made top class ingredients If fish is not to your taste there are alternatives

The only fish & chip shop I know with a welcoming doorman, the owner always says hello as you pass the cooking area to your choice of seat. There is an upstairs and downstairs seating area both staffed by very polite but friendly young people....More

BEST FISH AND CHIPS IN CARLISLE , the rest of the menu is just as good but you can't beat good old fish chips mushy peas bread butter and a pot of tea

We look forward to fish and chips, when we finish shopping because it is so welcoming convent, and good value. If you are not able to eat large portions they also cater for the small appetite.
